Rules

Be kind

Sqwidge is for everyone. These few rules are for the names and scores other players see. Signing in to Sqwidge means agreeing to them.

Kind names only

  • The names you choose, for yourself and your Sqwidges, must be kind.
  • No bullying, no rude or hurtful names, and no names that make fun of anyone.
  • Don't pretend to be someone else.
  • Keep your full name, address, school and phone number out of your names.
  • Play fair: scores come from playing, not from tricks.

Report and block

There's no chat in Sqwidge. If someone's names aren't kind, or a score doesn't look real:

  • A friend: open their page in Friends and tap Report names, or Block.
  • A friend request: tap its flag to report it, or block them.
  • A score on an Everyone table: tap … on its row, then Report this score.

A player you block can't see your names or your Sqwidges, or send you friend requests. Unblock them in Settings, then Account, whenever you like.

What happens to a report

  • A reported player's name goes back to the default straight away, and their Sqwidges' names are hidden from everyone else.
  • We check every report each day.
  • An account that keeps breaking these rules is closed.
  • A reported score stays on the table while we check it. A score that isn't real is taken off.

Something worrying you?

If anything in Sqwidge upsets you, block the player, report them and tell someone you trust. You can always email us at support@sqwidge.app.

Our privacy policy says what we keep about reports and blocks, and for how long.
